Don, I don't think you're going to be real happy with either one of those drills as a no-till. Neither one of them has the leading edge openers, and neither one of them has a really good down pressure system, nor do they work all that well with coulter carts. Does the 5100 have the unit mounted press wheels? You may be trying to teach a pig to sing with them things. There are a lot of drills that would be good candidates for no-till, I wouldn't neccesssarily count either one of those.
