As for fertilizer placement I think in furrow will be fine unless you are planning on placing large amounts of P and K down when you plant. (and the P is not really a problem.) (I have consindered shanking in several years worth of P + K pre plant on my new fescue stands, but have not tried it yet. ( I think Hay Wilson does this on his alfalfa.)
I have placed 10 gallons of 10-34-0 in furrow when planting fescue on 22" rows with no problems.
And didn't you get the memo, no-till is for lazy farmers, you won't qualify. | |
