I think a guy would have moved the washer before Sears arrived with the dryer. And when it started to leak, I think many/most guys - at least the guys on this forum - would have pulled out the tools and fixed it..... before they posted their trials on the web. (Hey, you did *ask*....) Now, I have to wonder if the real problem developed when you were talking with the guy at Sears. I wonder if you accurately portrayed what "moving the washer" really meant. I suspect he knew they would not be allowed to unhook and rehook-up your washer..... and I think your experiences show why. I think it is unreasonable for you to expect Sears to fix the washer problem free of charge. That's my opinion. Now, if you asked them to fix it, understanding there would be additional charges....... that's a different story. |
