North End I-15 | Oh that was not nice ........
I think there was too much misunderstanding about washing machine" move" . Of course I'm not the best communicator but they may have misunderstood the "Move " as in over a couple inches ? Not as to unhook and re-hook to be able to fit the dryer . Any disconnect /reconnect can and will have problems as to leaky reconnects.
as mentioned , hose washers are most often the grief.
Some times a heat gun applied to the washer will soften it to make for a better reseal .
Here I never turn off a valve that has been on for many years , our water "eats" every thing . In my case I shut off the water @ main supply valve that gets turned and off often . It's less likely to have corrosion and leaking problems .
Sorry , you have my deep sympathy for your situation .
Now if you are looking for a tool for mediation ...... I have a nice AK ....oh never mind. :>)
