It doesn't.     But if you don't have the option of a well that produces enough water or water that is usable, you'll gladly pay for rural water.

Not everyone has the luxury of drilling a well and automatically getting unlimited quantities of good quality water.    Consider yourself lucky if you do.


Kooiker you are correct when you say good quality water. Here in the Missouri River valley we have plenty of water irrigation but hard as nails. A five year old pivot looks twenty years old. Your rates look similar.
