Osage iowa
I come from swamp country, we fight to get planted, tile on 40 ft, clean ditches and update mains all the time to get the water out, I don’t expect or deserve a crop, but last year I got skunked on my north farms, it just didn’t rain. Did 100bu corn, I had no beans in that area. The local coop holds 6million bu but only took in 3.5million. I said last summer I was dry and some people on here said I didn’t know what dry is. Got the you’ll be pleasantly supervised speech, but I wasn’t. It was exactly as I said. Farming is risky and humbling at times, but I know my farms and do more than drive by. This weather could be setting me up for the best crop ever, or the worst. Too early to tell.
