Yes, most all farmers have their own well.  Around here, no way you could afford to pay rural water for spraying, can't
water cattle either for the price they charge.




That depends on if you have the option for a well that has usable water.     Not everyone has that option.

Rural water "here" costs around $4 per 1000 gallons.     For a livestock operation it does add up, but at 10-20 gpa for spraying, the cost of rural water in the sprayer tank isn't worth worrying about.
