JAnderson - 3/15/2024 21:15 my average spray gpa last year was right around 15gpa. guessing the water cost is something like 50 cents/acre/year. My cattle are on rural water all winter as well.
You're either doing a lot of sprayer passes or have really expensive rural water to get $.50/acre in sprayer water.
Rural water here is ~$4 per 1000 gallons. Works out to 6 cents/pass using 15 gpa. Not worth worrying about.
