Midwest

nhermanson - 3/16/2024 05:10 Iowa has 1000’s of miles of rural water infrastructure. I have a livestock site 10 miles from town with no well. I also have a site that half of it is in town and has 4 wells on the property. Very little of Iowa is not covered by a rural water district. I built a housing development a few years ago. Adjacent and annexed into town, but the local rural water district claimed it as there own, even though they had no pipe on the property.

There are also whole multi-county areas with no rural water. 50/50? For the state? Just trying to think where I've been a lot, have family, etc.
