Chebanse, IL.....

We have piped in water in the little town (1000 people) which I live. They have had for a long time now. We have 2 people in the house. No animals. No pool. Take showers daily & wash clothes somewhat often. Our water use is between 3-4000 gal/mo. I know some guys living alone that say theirs is around 2,000 gal. If someone has a toilet leaking, the village clerk tells me they can see it in the monthly usage change. If it's a really high flow, a notice is somehow sent to clerk's office from the wireless meters. All meters are inside the house & are read externally via some radio deal.
