| I didn’t realize there was an election going on in Russia this week until I watched your first link. Of course some will say it is just a formality and Putin won’t allow a change of government. That could very well be true and it wouldn’t surprise me.
It is an odd turn of events though that the country that we need to support to defend democracy has suspended the normal democratic process and the country that we are told is against democracy is continuing on with the democratic process.
I have no idea if either election is an open and fair election but I’m surprised the optics are allowed to be so bad.
