Georgetown, Illinois | FYI thanks for your comments, I am seeing the same thing, was hard to get this point over to some of the young ones. We went thru hard times in the 80's, this one is going to be different. If you were a banker in the 30's by the 50's you were telling your customers to "store" cash and I mean cash, I heard this from my mentors, as a young guy in the 80's those farmers made bank. Over the last 10 years we have had good income, did we "store" any of it, some did and some did not. there will be
some hard times for us, but I think most will get thru it. I wonder what 2030 will look like....anyway thanks for your comment.
On another note, wife and I wanted to buy some land two weeks ago, we made a bid and passed for the reasons above, maybe not just the right time. | |
