Koop - I'm not sure its as simple as you state there. What I was lead to believe is that deere's RTK system doesn't just switch to SF2 when it when it feels like it or when its obstructed from base signal. To my understanding the rovers software accumulates corrections strings & when it looses base signal it continues to apply its stored strings of correction to what might well be SF2 signal. But AFAIK it not simply a switch to SF2.
