I don't know how many magazine articles I have read over the years about precision ag, but your RTK post above went a long way in clearing things up for me. Like I said above, for us it is about practicality. We don't strip till (I hadn't considered differnt size strip units and planters) and don't do drainage work (it barely rains here). I guess most of what we do only needs to be "accurate" and don't mind using shift track to be on "target". I do have to disagree with your WAAS - SF2 comparison. I didn't do any measurements, I knew I didn't have to. Around here it isn't even close. But maybe that has something to do with manufacturer GPS correction algorithm. I used to run(fight) a Raven 210 receiver on WAAS.
