WC MN | We don't have much for hobby farms here. I can see several farms of 10,000 acres or more from atop our grain bins. The bigger ones are 20-25k and growing. There are plenty of 1500-5000 acres farms, but they die off over time but the big ones usually don't. Lots of silver spoons in our area. There are some young guys trying to get going, but those are usually 2nd or 3rd generation as well, just weren't born on 3rd base. This trend will not change. | |
