Subject: RE: New Perspective on Markets and ag

Southern IA
row crops are going to be thin margin and high volume, whoever can leverage the ESG and carbon market to appease processors and exporters and align with those markets are going to be in the driver seat, managing H2A labor and automation will be the way to get the work done. I have no idea why farmers think they grind away at work like nobody else. I'm surrounded by truckers, wrenchers, service businesses, construction etc. who work 60 hours a week year round, while young farmers are always taking off on expensive vactations for a week or more, one seed company saw such a big demand for it they have a jet that hauls farmers to the carribean all winter long so they can relax their overworked bones and soak in alcohol. It's not a lifestyle anymore, it's being the middle man serf between the input suppliers and processors/exporters.
