Most areas dealt with extreme drought is a fallacy. Most areas dealt with drought of some degree but very little of the corn belt faced extreme drought. We only reached severe drought here and were one of the driest areas of the belt for the longest. And yields suffered terribly here. But the majority of the belt received timely rains that we didn't.
