| Sadly your mother in law is right. If your wife is doing all this to get gratification from her parents, she'll never be happy in life.
Your wife sounds like a great person and a real go getter. Remind her that this new venture is her dream, not her parents. She needs to do this for herself, it's her hopes, dreams, and passion. Keep pushing her to do her best for herself and her family, not for her parents approval.
