Not sure why your wife is upset?
Why does her parents showing up or not have anything to do with her success.
I hope my kids don’t expect me to show up to all their stuff after they are gone and married!!!! I wanna live my life after they are gone doing fun stuff with my wife. Not still being a parent and going to all their life events

To the OP - Has it occurred to you how many things you and your wife have probably missed “being there” with your in-laws while being wrapped up in your own endeavors? How do you think they felt about it or did they just get over it and move on? Like taking a trip to Vegas? |
