| My opinion that your inlaws are selfish many people are. It does sting when those close to you do not support your goals or ambitions they way you would like. My advice is to be find happiness on your own do not rely on others approval this can be difficult especially when dealing with parents. As for your inlaws I would continue to pray for the situation and love them but do not set yourself up for disappointment with unrealistic expectations given their past history.
