She is an adult and should not expect other adults to be there for what is her dream. She had a great turnout. That should make her happy. Having her dreams destroyed because her parents didn't show seems childish to me. It's a big day for her, and they probably should have made it if possible, but she needs to realize they have their own dreams. A surprise trip with friends seems like a lot more fun than going to a store for 20 minutes to see stuff that you don't intend to buy just so your kid can see you there and feel supported. | |
