Subject: RE: You want one cheap?

SW Saskatchewan
We have a terragator with a 555 and road-ranger. Nice unit when it ran.

One spring we found the crank full of antifreeze.

Looked inside, leaking around lower cylinder bores. Mechanic said it was a non-repairable ailment- his solution was to switch to water and run that way- drain in winter.

Got several more years use out of it before total failure- our mechanic had been accumulating dead and dying 555 and re-incarnated the treasure trove and it is still working- though doesn't get much use now we switched to high clearance- mainly 2-4-d on stubble when we need the capacity.

Wanted to do a 903 transplant but the frame didn't have enough clearance. A 8.9 should work, a lot of them showing up used.
