Unpredictable, uncontrollable variablies effecting schedules of individules involved ie; wet spring or fall, tight planting/harvest window----So jJoe has to cancel that trip to Cancun that Sally had her heart set on.

Working with individuals that if they weren't family there is NO WAY they would be working in the operation.

A lot of other occupations are not so traumatic to opt out of a partnership if thing go south. Take your bag, tools, skills and go next door/across town and continue the same thing you've been doing. Not as easy with the investment farming requires so many stay together too long even though under duress.

Passion for what you do.

PB Whats your mix? All family? Inlaws/outlaws? Nephews?
