All the other partnerships you mentioned, have a very clear well thought out written plan. Everything is included, who has responsibility for what, contingency plans, etc.. Next is there is 'right up front' a clear well written plan for an exit strageity. (sp)  So if anything does happen to go 'south' the partnership can be disolved as aimicialy as possible.

Farmer's don't do that many times. And, there is that fierce independent "my way or the hiway" mentality in which farmer's refuse to believe anything can be done any differently and come out with the same result.

I've done things since my Dad died that I spent years trying to explain to him my ideas would not just work but work well.  He shot down everything I tried to explain to him. He was so all fired so damn sure he was right and there was simply NO OTHER WAY it could be done. Well,, I've proved differently.
