Southwest Illinois | It's really pretty simple why most ag partnerships fail. Communication. Usually someone feels they are getting shorted or are being left in the dark. Very few farm partnerships are operated as a true business. Meaning they don't have regular meetings, don't approve fund distributions(for bills, services or payroll) as a group and make decisions without everyones input. There aren't clear roles defined. So in the end it usually cpmes down to communication, or lack thereof. | |
