West Tennessee | There's a post above this one in another thread that deals with this same issue. I'd suggest more cylinder speed (ours is running 500 right now), and less concave clearance ( I usually run from 6-15 on that). It'll probably make it like a new machine if you change the bars. This can be done through the rock trap, but is easier if you take off the feederhouse. From what I've seen the clearance is the same from front to back of the concave. The service manual mentions using the same gauge in front and back of the concave. I set mine using two 3/8" pieces of key stock right or wrong. | |
