That is a really good one!

That is how you de-slug the old F2 and I have been real careful and real lucky not to plug it this year in heavy beans in green straw!

Sold it this week and told the new owner how to do it but he smiled and pointed at his de-slugger, his "adopted son" who do anything to drive a combine. The guy already had an F he parked for junk.

You should have seen them load the F2. The drove up in a 4 door chevy pulling a flat bed goosneck trailer with tandem axels and single wheels! I thought oh my God... When the adopted son drove it onto the bed all four tires hung over more than they sit on the trailer!

The block the front axle good, let the air out of the tires which got the cab from 14 feet to under 13'6". They chained her down good, took off like a bat and the next day he called and said it ran better than the F ever did!

Hard to beat that Harv story though, Ed. It is really sad when you have it made and shoot yourself in your own foot. Thankfully I did not do that on this deal....
