Macon, IL | I joined the club this year for the 1st time. Was cutting around a waterway edge and got to talking to my daugher. Never knew how green the beans along the edge of the waterway could be. Slugged the cylinder full of green grass and beans.
It was so tight I had a really hard time lowering the concave-the wheel had to get pushed on with my foot. Then an hour through the rock trap with pliers pulling out beans and weeds.
3 lessons learned at once:
Pay attention even when talking to riders
Beans mature a lot slower when growing in grass
I never ever want to slug the cylinder again | |
