Subject: Re: Two initiations into the Combine Operator Club

Martinsville, Ohio
We always open the cylinder on those green ends and blow a lot of stuff out the back before we ever try to set it close enough to run all day. We go loose, tighten it up as the day winds on and the beans get drier, then loosen up as the sun set and the dew sets in... Always keep the fan pretty high, don't know of a situation we run in that requires low fan speed?

Nothing worse than anxious to get started and wham, plug the cylinder! Really kills your enthusiasm and makes your day long without being productive...
