I've read similar things about the earthworms. I know that the castings are very rich in nutrients, and in fact a very high value "gardening" amendment when sold in stores. I did not think about the ph of the castings. I was reading some more about some of the liquid fertilizers and their ph level, wondering what it would do for the soil over time. It is truely interesting to see how hard those worms work.
