The doctrine of "caveat emptor - let the buyer beware" is a good precaution, protecting the seller against unknown defects. But should caveat emptor still apply when the seller admits that he "forgot" to send some of the parts included in the deal('s) he agreed upon at every turn, until, of course, it came time for him to deliver in full? I think not! |
