Subject: Now this is funny.

Roaming the plains
You sell something for $150 bucks and deliver for another $150. You may have been money ahead at scrap prices. But this "farmer" wants a fully complete tillage tool. Which is understandable and you left some pieces in a pile. That happens. You are close to his wife's family so he could get them on a trip to see her family. You offered to meet him and he couldn't do it. I would leave the parts at the meeting point or his in laws and say good riddance.

Mick: A Honda Civic? If you are raising pumpkins and other large produce how do you get the crop to market? I can't believe that if you offered to fill up the tank and wash it (maybe a 12 pack as well) nobody would loan you use of a pickup. Unless you have a reputation among your community for these types of dealings.

I wouldn't get bent out of shape and whine over this transaction one bit.
