Subject: Disagree, Jim

If one of your suppliers showed up to deliver 1/2 of the number of purchased finished parts you needed to complete an order for a new strip till machine that a big customer needs fast, and the supplier said if you want them, come and get them 4 hours away, I bet it'd rank a lot higher on than a 1 or 1.5 on your list and you'd be pretty hot, as most others would be too.  Yeah, you'd probably get a truck going there to get them so you can complete your order, but sounds like in order for this guy to do the same he's going to have to spend as much as the cultivator is worth as he is just starting out.  Same situation, this guy is cutting yield on $7 corn and did not get what he needs, and is getting screwed.  In my opinion, another example of an operator who has met success in life and has no regard or respect for a small guy trying to scratch out a start, being rude.  Seems to be getting pretty common as the old fashioned country life and others helping each other out is getting thrown out, as prosperity makes everyone feel more independent and less need for reliance on others.  This guy got screwed, from the story he tells, and doesn't sound like anyone is helping him out.  Respect and courtesy is what we used to call it, guess it became old fashioned.
