Get over it... If the shoe was on the other foot would you lose money to complete the deal? He basically gave you the damn thing, hauled it for next to nothing... that's about as far as it goes.
Hire a couriour. Some of the local boys here will move stuff like that fairly reasonable if it's under 100 pounds. I haven't moved anything with them lately like that but it used to be about 20 bucks per hundred. I'd imagine it's about 25 by now. Other possibilities include feed trucks (here), dealer parts trucks or neighbours going in that direction. Around here our Cat dealer runs a truck between it's various branches throughout the province EVERY night. They probably wouldn't mind moving something like that for one of their customers.... so long as they wern't going out of their way.
You're at the point now where you figure something out or you don't get your cultivating done 'cause I don't think he's going to deliver the parts to you, and I don't really blame him. Sure, they should have been delivered as agreed upon, etc... but **** happens. Life goes on.
