Can I swap a Chevy 454 for a 6.2 diesel?

I had no clearance issues with the fan at all. I just had to fabricate a new top radiator hiose. The lower one even fit. I used the same torque converter for the gas, the only difference being the blow off for compression braking of the diesel. The gas engine will just go to an idle when letting off the throttle rather than hold you back. It bolted right up to the flexplate. The 3 hose fuel pump is a direct connect to the diesel fuel tank system. Like you mentioned about the steering pump/brake booster, I believe I had to use the pulley puller tool to help align the pulleys. I went to the chev dealer and bought a new throttle cable for the gas application and it was a bolt on deal too.

It's a great swap to do. I dont think it could be easier.
