| I did a 6.2 to chevy 350 swap in an '82 3/4 ton 4 x 4 several years. Pretty much a drop in swap with new motor mounts. The 6.2 exhaust bolted up to the 350 manifolds, hung the diesel power steering pump in the 350 brackets and everything else hooked right up. I used the original gauges and sensors. The trans should be a turbo 400 so hook up ported vacuum and it should work perfectly. I did this swap in 91 and it is still going.
