Kansas | That engine from that old of a era needs nothing computer to run. The gauges should work hooked up direct and the speedometer should work off the tranny still. About the only thing that might be a problem is cruise control and if a guy is looking at doing that sort of swap in that old of a vehicle I'm kinda under the impression cruise isn't going to matter to him.
I'd pull the dash after I got it running and pull that service engine soon bulb out so you don't have to look at it all the time.
Computer wise though, there really is nothing for it to do or hook to with that old of an engine. Find the hot wire to it and disconnect and leave the looms hanging in the engine compt. | |
