My neighbor had a 6.2 diesel pickup where he turned it off, then tried to rerstart and the engine would not turn over. He thought the engine had locked up, but the Chevy shop said it might be a broken transmission pump locking the torque converter.
Turned out they were right, rebuilt the transmission and ran the old pickup another few years. |
