Oil analysis will tell you a lot about when to change oil/ otherwise its just a guess really. I am surprised more people dont do this. I do it a couple times a year on my truck, Have extended my drain to 7500 miles no problem. Spend a few bucks on oil analysis it could save you more money then you think.
