| I ahve an 06 silverado and change my oil every 5000 miles. Dealer said htat is what they reccomended on these newer trucks. I go by the engine oil life gauage on my odometer. When it gets to around 25-30% I start lookint at my miles and setting up and appointment to get it changed. I always let the dealer change my oil. Dont knwo why they always treat me right so i let them have my business. I think a oil change and grease job is 24.99. I cant do it for that. Or lets put it like this I wont do it for that. PLus they can do it a lot faster then i can LOL
