| I think a lot of the so-called free market transactions and competitive pricing are greatly reduced after the last 20 years of consolidation. And all the consolidation is not a result of free market influence---much of it was influence by politics, money supply policy, currency manipulation, etc.,etc. There are not enough players and the attitude has gone from having the best product at the best price, to how much of the pie can we extract or how much can the market stand. I like free market, but to defend todays market enviroment as a true "free" market is pushing it a little. | |
