Nevada, Iowa | Jumpimg in late here and haven't read all replies. Jay, your last statement raised the hair on my neck until I stopped to think about it. It is TRUE but only for the short term. Like every action having an equal and opposite reaction, I believe as Ron does that this grain price bubble will change and the inputs and rents will be slower or less likely to change. Being caught in that vacuum is what concerns most of us. I feel very strongly that corn will be under 2.50 in central Iowa again, someday, and when it is that adjustment period will be bloody and probably lethal in some instances. | |
