USA | The chances of seeing prices like that again are slim and none. Imo input costs to grow a crop will prolly double over the next five years from current levels. Higher input costs are the least of the problems of a lot farmers. Land costs will be the demise of more farmers than input costs.
If I was a farmer that was renting the majority of land I farmed, I would do everything possible to get rent locked in for the next 5 years. | |
