Subject: RE: Tax

I think I have this right? Subtract some of "Y" from "X" and you have a lower priced "X". Now my head hurts.

Turbotax is an interesting creature, as you can run different scenarios to see how a 179a purchase will effect your tax liability. It will give you instant results on taxes owed based on line item changes. I have done my own taxes until 2 years ago when I hired it done. That is where I learned, "If you cannot use it, don't buy it." I still use Turbotax as a tool, but not a reporting method.

I have older equipment that is paid for. My newest tractor is a 4455 and my combine is a 9600. Everything is paid for and will do the job of any new machine on the market. Maybe just a little slower. I also have a big tool box and prefer used equipment.
