| Absent an heir to carry on we often lose the drive to continue building. Only after we begin to think like the corporate world will such things routinely occur. Certainly, John Deere doesn't intend to die when its major shareholders do. And yes, we'll eventually learn to think like the corporate world. After all, most industries present today often behaved more like small farms in the past.
