I shared the above at the risk of being ridiculed by you more experienced folks but worth it to try to help someone else avoid going through the same miserable experience.
That is a bummer, I hope my post didn't mean to ridicule you. I didn't realize it was a rookie mistake. That's a credit to you to try and help someone learn from your mistake.
