Subject: Re: feeding bred cows

Saronville NE
I am feeding some cows right now that are calving, just so I dont have to drive thru cornfield everyday and check for new ones. I am feeding them 7-8lbs of WDG, plus a mix of 1/3 alfalfa/1/3 crpgrass or bean stubble/ 1/3 poor black rained on alfalfa and 2 lbs of corn, havent had any promblems so far and we have done this in the past before also. Feed guy says we will be fine with that, when the WDG runs out, I may change to a liquid feed, not positive yet.
