Subject: feeding bred cows

SE KS
I'm feeding 2 lbs of corn gluten every other day to cows in winter. Of course great for my fall calvers, but is it a problem for spring calvers? Much truth to it making unborn calf too big? Feeding good hay...well as good as we got this dry summer, and mineral. Havent used this program with cg in past. Used lick tubs. Tried a couple different and they either devored the molasses tub or wouldn't touch the hard tubs. No affordable happy medium. Thanks for thoughts.
