W.C. MN | Thanks all for your thoughts on this. It appears it is too late as she has made an appointment to pick up baby boy tomorrow afternoon. I think the biggest regret I have right now is that we didn't look for help right away as far as us being 'support' for her. Seems birth mothers that want their child back is fairly common. We didn't see it coming. .. Funny how most of you brought up the grandparents. We were told they didn't try to persuade her one way or another, but her mom had stayed with her 2 weeks following the birth. I know enough about Grandma to know she wants things Grandma's way. Birth mother has been having a hard time living on her own here in MN. Oh, Grandparents live in CA so we won't be of much help. Regret aside, the thing that bothers me most is the thought that there are presents under a tree of a great family (whom we've also met) that will have to get returned before Christmas.
