Just cause some outfit from the Midwest ran another cattle scam, does not necessarily call for some national id rule.
Face it, honorable PEOPLE pay for cattle....not the supposed bonding co, not the govt and not the id tag either.
If there was national tag id with the current E cattle...well then there's likely a ton of those tag buttons laying on the ground by chutes now that say "unlawfull to remove" or something like such on the back.
Hot brands is my choice....but then the SW here is just a small cog in a huge industry.
